Vishwa Sangh Shibir 2025 Concludes at Kanha Shanti Vanam with Global Participation

Kanha Shanti Vanam, near Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) | December 25–29, 2025

Shri Vishwa Niketan successfully organized the 7th Vishwa Sangh Shibir (VSS 2025) at Kanha Shanti Vanam, near Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad), from December 25 to 29, 2025. The five-day global congregation brought together over 1,600 karyakartas, volunteers, and delegates from 71 countries, representing all continents, reaffirming the growing global footprint of the Sangh-inspired Hindu movement.

The Vishwa Sangh Shibir has a rich legacy. The first Vishwa Sangh Shibir, held in 1990 at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, witnessed the participation of 198 delegates from 18 countries, marking a historic milestone in global Hindu organization. From that modest yet visionary beginning, the Shibir has evolved into a truly worldwide forum. Reflecting this growth, 25 karyakartas from Germany actively participated in VSS 2025, underscoring the expanding role of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) Germany in global Sangh activities.

The previous VSS, scheduled in 2020, had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2025 Shibir therefore carried special significance, coinciding with the Centenary Celebrations of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)—an enduring source of inspiration for Swayamsevaks worldwide. This enthusiasm was evident in the diversity and scale of participation, ranging from the youngest participant aged one year to the eldest aged 91 years. True to Sangh traditions, all participants attended at their own personal expense, reflecting dedication and selflessness.

Discipline, Dharma, and Global Harmony

All programs adhered strictly to punctuality and discipline, whether it was the morning prayers at 6:30 a.m., daily shakhas, yoga-asana training sessions, lectures, panel discussions, or post-dinner cultural programs. The sessions were centered on the core theme “धर्मे सर्वं प्रतिष्ठितम्” (Dharme Sarvam Pratisthitam)—Dharma as the foundation of individual, societal, and global well-being.

The Shibir featured thematic exhibitions, book stalls, and displays showcasing the work of various Sangh-inspired organizations. Women participated in large numbers and played an equally significant role in the planning, coordination, and execution of the Shibir proceedings.

Inaugural Session and Key Addresses

The inaugural session on December 25 was blessed by Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Nyas, Ayodhya. The keynote address was delivered by Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah of RSS. The session was graced by the presence of Daaji, Global Spiritual Guide of the Heartfulness Movement, and presided over by Shri Banwarilal Purohit, Shibiradhikari, President of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and former Governor of Assam, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu.

Welcoming the delegates, Shri Saumitra Gokhale, Global Coordinator of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS), highlighted that the Vishwa Sangh Shibir is a once-in-five-years global gathering of karyakarta families committed to the practice and propagation of Hindu Dharma worldwide. Dr. Siddhesh Shevade served as the Shibir Karyavah for VSS 2025.

On this occasion, a souvenir magazine based on the Shibir theme was released, along with four books authored by Dr. Ratan Sharda documenting the history of Hindu Sangathan work. Two books authored by DaajiThe Heart of Lord Ram and Holy Tirthankars—were also unveiled. The globally sung Vishwa Prarthana was released in a special musical rendering by Shri Shankar Mahadevan, composed and directed by renowned music director Rahul Ranade, accompanied by a thematic video featuring a philharmonic orchestra.

Addressing the gathering, Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji emphasized that Dharma provides equilibrium and stability in life. Shri Dattatreya Hosabale exhorted karyakartas of HSS and other Hindu organizations to live and act according to Dharma, irrespective of their country of residence, noting its immense potential to bring peace and prosperity to the world. Several sessions were also addressed by senior Sangh leaders, including Shri V. Bhagaiah, Dr. Krishan Gopal, Shri Arun Kumar, Shri Suresh Soni, Shri C.R. Mukunda, and Union Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.

Public Function and Address by Sarsanghchalak

On December 28, during the public function attended by over 17,000 people, RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat delivered the keynote address. He stated that the world does not need domination through power or wealth, but inspiration through “Hindu living” rooted in Dharma, compassion, and selfless service. He underlined that Bharat’s leadership of the world must emerge through example, not coercion.

“We will lead the world, but only through our own methods—through our way of life. We do not wish to crush others. We place our living example before the world,”
Dr. Mohan Bhagwat

The program was also addressed by Dr. Krishna Ella, Founder and Executive Chairman of Bharat Biotech, and Daaji.

Conclusion

The Vishwa Sangh Shibir 2025 concluded on December 29 with the ‘Pathey’ delivered by Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, and a collective resolve to reconvene after five years. The Shibir reaffirmed the commitment of Hindu Swayamsevaks worldwide—including those from Germany—to live, practice, and propagate Dharma as a force for global harmony and well-being.
